In hopes to make light of a shocking photocopied invite to a KKK Rally given to me by a professor at the University of Pennsylvania in the spring of 2008, I appropriated the beautiful type from the invite in order to create my own rally: the Pubic Rally. Using reproductions of spreads from vintage magazines found at the Van Pelt Library at the University of Pennsylvania, I curated a series of guests to attend my rally, ranging from angelic children to golfing men.

The final product is a series of screen printed, unstretched canvas (~22 x17") depicting portraits of the attendees of the Pubic Rally — a rally about the ominous and abstract nature of ambition and desire.
